MRL Changes in EU Legislation On Pesticide Residues – August 2022 Update

In recent months, a number of amendments to the EU 396/2005 Regulation have been published. Some of these changes are already active since April 14 and 28 and May 3, 2022.

Regulation EU 2021/476 is an amendment of Annexes II, III and IV to Regulation EU 396/2005; and indicates a change in Maximum Residue Levels (MRL) for acetic acid, azoxystrobin, benzovindiflupyr, cyantraniliprole, cyflufenamid, emamectin, flutolanil, California porridge, maltodextrin and proquinazid in or on various products. This regulation came into effect on April 14, 2022.

Regulation EU 2022/566 is an amendment of the Annex II of Regulation EU 396/2005, and indicates a change in maximum residue levels (MRL) for flutianil in or on various products. This regulation came into effect on April 28, 2022.

Regulation EU 2022/85 is an amendment of Regulation EU 1881/2006; and indicates a change in maximum residue levels (MRL) for mercury in fish and salt. This regulation came into effect on May 3, 2022.
