Potassium

Potassium (K) is one of the key nutrients in plants mostly because its roles are wholly centred to functions with directly affect the quality of any produce, especially vegetables. It can be applied as a basal dressing where it is part of the normal NPK fertilizers as well as a foliar during flower and fruit set in various crops.

Deficiency symptoms in Plants

In some plants there is premature shedding of the leaves with Interveinal chlorosis (yellowing between the leave veins) seen developing at leaf tips.
